Film and Editing.

Creating is truly my calling.

Who Am I?

My name is Chloe, and I am an aspiring filmmaker. I was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and have lived in a variety of places, from California to Ontario, Edinburgh (Scotland), British Columbia, and back to Edinburgh. My introduction to film began at a young age, thanks to my dad, who would cast my older brother and me in his short films. I am grateful for the knowledge and exposure to filmmaking that I received throughout my upbringing. As I grew up, I was always involved in theatre groups, drama clubs, or choir, and I developed a deep passion for the art of production and bringing creative projects to life for others to enjoy. I graduated from Pacific Design Academy College in British Columbia, Canada, where I completed the film program. During my studies, I learned how to direct, produce, edit, act, operate a camera, and most importantly, what it’s like to be part of a small, hard-working film crew. Guided by professors with real-world experience in the film industry, such as Ramsey Fendal and Deanna Mulligan, I gained invaluable lessons and advice. During my time in the program, I produced, directed, and edited several short films, including “Rachel and Ben,” “My Sister,” and “Artistically Speaking,” where I was Second AD and editor. Being hands-on throughout my coursework, I also learned to use software such as DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Photoshop, and Blender. I have always had a passion for the arts and for creating,
and seeing the final product on the big screen is incredibly rewarding.
